Property Details

It would be greatly appreciated if you would read the full details of this offering carefully for efficiency in communications.

The professional digital pictures you will find here accurately represent the layout of the apt. There have been some major improvements since these pics were taken. There is also A professionally drawn floorplan.

This apartment is occupied through August 31st, 2021. There has been no opportunity to shoot our typical comprehensive media campaign on this unit which includes video, 3D tours, new digital photos & a new floorplan.

Barkoff Residential works hard to provide a full media website on every offering we put out for rent and/or for sale especially these days. The opportunity is not always there. We sometimes must wait for the tenants to move-out and then have the turnover work done. From that point, it can still take up to 3 weeks before the media is published. Bottom line is its more challenging to get this done for rentals as they typically move quickly and with extraordinarily little turnover time especially in the middle of the summer rental season. We anticipate this apartment will be rented before we get the opportunity to shoot the new media.

Now for the apartment, building highlights and details:

***A gorgeous efficiency kitchen w/stylish top of the line appliances including GE Profile under the cabinet convection/microwave oven, GE Monogram two drawer fridge & beautiful glass tile backsplash.
***Huge double windowed bath
***Oversized walk-in closet/dressing room
***Hardwood Floors & a high ceiling.
***Four large windows. This unit gets dramatic bright morning sunlight. There is no view!

Please note:
1. Students & guarantors are OK. No shares!
2. This is an efficiency studio. Please review the floorplan as its only 250 Sq Ft.
3. Its Available on or about Sept 1, 2021

Location-In the heart of the prime downtown area, Union Square affords you the prime downtown vibe with great access to Union Square Park with its multiple mass transit options incl N-R-4-5-6-L Trains. Building Amenities: Gorgeous prewar elevator building with resident superintendent, modern laundry room, Cyberdoorman remote security service and two modern passenger elevators along with its classic Lobby & architecturally designed front doors.

The Swannanoa is a 10-story Neo-Renaissance apartment building designed by a prolific designer of residential buildings whose name is generally associated with single-family row houses. The building was originally planned with 40 apartments, four on each floor. Its most imposing feature is the two-story base with granite pilasters and projecting portico supported by four granite columns. Above the portico are seven-story rounded bays, undoubtedly designed to provide residents with views toward nearby Union Square. The brick-faced upper floors are extensively ornamented with Terra- Cotta, including foliate detail, Cartouches, Lion heads, and Dolphins. Designed by Renowned Architect: Gilbert A. Schellinger 1898-1900.
