Large, furnished room for rent in Park Slope / South Slope / Gowanus, just 3 short blocks from the F, G and R trains. Room available immediately through end of June (when our lease ends). $1,250/month is the monthly rent for a renter staying 90+ days. Open to shorter terms as well. All utilities included.

Bedroom comes with queen bed and mattress, air conditioner, bedside table, desk, book shelf. (Some furnishings can be removed, so just let me know what you plan to bring.) Plus, it has a large closet with built-in shelves. The living room, bathroom and kitchen are shared with your roommate, who is positive, friendly and easygoing. She is 31 and works at a local university in the faculty and student services division.

We will ask that you provide references and proof of funds/income (showing you can afford the rent). I have moved to a studio apt three subway stops away (a deal I couldn't pass up), but I want someone responsible and friendly who will treat the apt well and be a good roommate.
