RENT-STABILIZED APARTMENT

Great building in Ft. Greene with a shared roofdeck with Manhattan skyline views. Lots of very nice friendly 30-something people in the building, lots of dogs. Organic grocery store in the building. Laundry in basement. Doorman on duty from 8 AM - Midnight. Elevator.

The unit is a large 1br loft-style apartment with 14 ft. ceilings, exposed beams and TONS of closet space. Two huge double closets plus one coat closet and a linen/storage closet.

Updated kitchen with dishwasher and plenty of counter space. Hardwood floors, exposed brick. Extremely large bedroom that easily holds a king sized bed (actually could probably hold TWO king sized beds).

We have absolutely LOVED living here and have even made friends in the building. We did some amazing updates on the unit, installing a new countertop, vanity and custom built in bookshelves and blinds, all of which we are willing to leave for the next tenant.

We even signed a two year lease last Feb because we were so sure we would be staying for a long time. Unfortunately we both lost our jobs this year and we are relocating to Philadelphia.

Fees:
- $50 application fee
- $500 move-in deposit, refundable after move-in if building is not damaged during move-in
- $200 for apartment keys, refundable when keys are returned
- $500 pet deposit for each approved pet, refundable at lease termination if pet does no damage

This is a rent-stabilized apartment - if we just gave up our lease, our landlord could legally charge (and definitely get) $2692.32/month. At 2311/mo this place is a bargain and under market value.
