The Apartment
- Spacious and fully renovated 1-bedroom with large living room, kitchen, bathroom, closets, and big windows.

- Very bright and sunny. It gets sunlight during the entire day -- directly in the mornings and indirectly in the afternoons because the building across the street is mirrored and reflects the sunshine back into the apartment.

- Has a view of the open sky / water from one of the angles and a nice reflection of the Chrysler building from the building across the street.

- Newly renovated as of June 1, 2015. We are the first residents to occupy it since (we moved from another apartment in the same building). Everything is still brand new. A Handy cleaning person once said of the kitchen counter, "This is the whitest countertop I've seen!" Friends wonder why we get a cleaning lady.

- According to StreetEasy, the configuration for our apartment (line F) is 850 square feet.

- Currently it is a one bedroom, but management can build a wall for an additional fee. Part of the living room can be converted into a second room of the same size as the original for a one-time fee of $2,000. Not a bad deal considering there is no broker's fee.

- The bedroom fits a queen bed comfortably and the second bedroom (if you choose it) will accommodate one as well.

- Kitchen has very modern appliances - stove / oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave - all stainless steel and "smart". Fridge beeps when you forget to close it, oven is digital, dishwasher is touch activated and has a light indicator outside.

- There is very good closet space in the apartment, (1) one medium in the bedroom, (2) one large by the entrance, and (3) one smaller by the bathroom.

- The bathroom has new fixtures and very nice large tiles. Water pressure is excellent.

Additional fees

Lease application: $100 per person on lease

Flex 2-Bedroom Option: $2,000 to build the a wall and divide large living room into another room of the same size as the original. Not a bad deal considering there is no broker's fee.
