We’re a creative and tech couple taking some intentional time off for a much-needed sabbatical. We love our apartment and hope to find people who will enjoy living here and care for it as much as we do.
Our corner home has unobstructed south-facing and east-facing windows, so it gets tons of natural light. It’s furnished with pieces that make it feel personal, including art we’ve collected from around the world. You’ll also have a record player, espresso machine, Sonos speakers, TV, monitor, and a desk for working from home. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, right down to the spices. We’ll empty all the closets for your use.

The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with both a bathtub and a shower, plus a Toto bidet. There’s central air conditioning and heat, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a dishwasher. The unit is ADA compliant, and we can rearrange furniture to accommodate your needs. The Axel has a doorman, elevator, well-equipped gym, rooftop, lounge, business center, conference room, courtyard, and virtual golf room. Rooftop pool access may be available for an additional fee. The building sits at the intersection of Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, and Fort Greene, with the cafés, restaurants, shops, and parks of all three neighborhoods close by.

We’re looking for a 3-to-12-month sublet and can be flexible with move-in and move-out dates. Rent is $6,500 per month, including utilities and internet. A one-month security deposit and the first month’s rent are due before move-in.

If you’re interested, please tell us your ideal dates, who would be living in the apartment, and a little about yourself. For applicants moving forward, we’ll request proof of ability to pay and a previous housing reference. Applicants may be required to get a soft credit check through building management.

The arrangement will be documented in a written sublet agreement and is subject to building approval and rules.
