The apartment itself is spacious and easily fits a queen bed with room for a sofa/living area and a desk area. There are two large windows in the living room, one south facing with a beautiful view of trees in the park, and another large window in the kitchen. There is a separate eat-in kitchen with enough room for a sit-down table. There is a hallway with three very large closets. Floors are hardwood. Laundry on the first floor of the building. AC already installed. The building is safe and quiet with two entrances and is right next to a cafe. It is an elevator building and pet-friendly.

The apartment is in probably the best location you could get directly on Eastern Parkway. It is right across the street from the Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park and Mount Prospect Park — you can see the library and park and farmer's market from the window. It is one block down from the Brooklyn Museum and around the corner from Radio Bakery. There are three streets nearby with a ton of shops and cafes There is a wonderful farmer’s market on Saturdays right outside and lots of shops and restaurants. It is as central as you could get in Prospect Heights/Brooklyn.

This unit is one of the best in the building — it has an extra south-facing window other units in the building don't have, and faces outward (vs. the alley), gets more sun and has a more spacious layout. I am moving because I got into a lottery housing complex closer to my job.
