We’re looking for someone to take over our lease on our spacious one-bedroom at 95 Christopher Street, right at Christopher & Bleecker in the heart of the West Village. We’ve loved living here and are only leaving because we’re moving to a new apartment.

This corner unit apartment has an unusually large and functional layout for the West Village, with a nearly 20-foot-long living room, separate dining room, large bedroom, and incredible closet space throughout. The living room comfortably fits a large sectional, second sofa, full entertainment setup and additional furniture while still feeling open and spacious.

As a corner apartment, it gets fantastic natural light from multiple exposures, with large windows overlooking Christopher Street and the surrounding Village. The bedroom is also very generously sized and easily accommodates a king bed plus dressers and additional furniture.

One of our favorite things about the apartment is the amount of storage. There are four large closets, including two near the entry and two around the bedroom, which is a rarity for a West Village apartment.

There’s also a true separate dining room, which we’ve used as a dedicated dining space but could easily work as a dining/office combination for someone working from home.

The building is a classic prewar West Village building with a 24-hour doorman, elevator, complimentary gym, laundry room, package room and live-in super. The apartment has hardwood floors, a dishwasher and stainless-steel appliances.

And the location, quite frankly, is hard to beat. You’re at Christopher & Bleecker, steps from Hudson Street, Sheridan Square and some of the best restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping in the West Village. The Hudson River and Washington Square Park are both an easy walk. The Christopher Street 1 train is less than a block away, the PATH is a couple of blocks away, and West 4th Street is also within easy walking distance.

It’s been an amazing apartment for us, particularly because you get the space and storage of a much larger apartment while still being right in the middle of the West Village.
