I’m moving in with my boyfriend and looking for someone to take over the lease on my lovely two-bedroom apartment in Bed-Stuy.

The apartment has hardwood floors throughout, lots of natural light and a beautiful exposed-brick wall running through the living and dining space. Both bedrooms are separate from the living room; I currently use the second bedroom as a home office, but it can also be used as a bedroom or guest room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and gas stove, and the bathroom has a full bathtub.

It’s on the second floor of a walk-up building, near Lewis Avenue and Monroe Street. Saraghina is practically next door, as is Frog wine bar, and there are lots of other great neighborhood restaurants, cafés and bars nearby. The A/C at Utica Avenue is about a 15-minute walk.

The apartment will be rented unfurnished. There is no laundry in the building, but there’s a laundromat approximately five minutes away.

This is a formal lease takeover through the management company. The new tenant will need to submit an application and pass the usual income and credit checks. There is no broker fee. The current lease runs through May 31, 2027, after which there will be an option to renew.
