I've loved living in this apartment and I'm only leaving because my partner and I need more space as we think about the next chapter(s) of our lives.
The apartment is on the 15th floor with south/west facing exposure and floor-to-ceiling windows, so the apartment is filled with light and you can watch the sun rise and/or sunset over the tops of south Brooklyn buildings from pretty much anywhere in the apartment. The light makes the whole place feel bigger than the square footage (~700sq ft) suggests.
The kitchen is open with integrated appliances -- gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The bedroom fits a King bed comfortably with room left over. There's in-unit washer/dryer, closet space, and the ability to open one window in each room for fresh air.
420 Kent is a full-service building on the Williamsburg waterfront: 24/7 front desk, package room, two rooftop pool clubs and gyms, co-working lounges, waterfront decks with shared grills, bike storage, parking, and a free shuttle to the subway.
Building is pet friendly and management has been easy to work with.
