Hey guys, I'm in need of a new roommate for my empty room. It comes with a bed and nightstand. It is the smaller of the two bedrooms in the apartment. I'm asking for $1400 per month but that gets you not only the furnishings but all utilities. You can even get an air conditioner if you want. It would be more expensive if I charged less for rent and we split the utilities (electric, heat/hot water, and wifi.)
A little about me, I'm a white, straight male in my early forties. I like to cook and enjoy watching movies and the occasional video game. I'm a big mets and rangers fan but don't really care too much about other sports. I also enjoy seeing live music. I'm currently on disability so I'm not working but I have a steady income. I'm fairly social but don't bring the party home and usually don't have more than one person over at a time if at all. I don't like cigarettes but I do smoke cannabis. If you have a problem with it, you don't want to live here. But I can get along with anybody. I've lived with all sort of guys of different races, lifestyles and ages and never have had a problem getting along. The neighborhood is East Harlem. We got lots of place to eat, bodegas, laundromats, banks, etc in the area. There are buses and subways within a couple blocks. I've been in the area for the last 5 years and like it.
