420 Gates is a new construction rental building in Bed Stuy. I moved in 5 years ago and I’m the only tenant that’s lived in the unit.
The building is very nice: elevator, video intercom, package room, bike storage, parking garage, basement storage available for rent, gym. Super nice rooftop with city views and lots of residents will invite you to gatherings up there if that’s your cup of tea.
The unit has tall ceilings, huge windows, private balcony, in-unit W/D. The bedroom is large enough for a king bed and the kitchen accommodates a 48” round dining table.
My interactions with management have been very easy over the years. Rent/maintenance tickets are handled through an online portal. I’ve never had a dramatic rent increase and maintenance is always prompt to reply.
