We have been living at Gotham West since 2019 and we love both the building and the neighborhood. We recently moved into a new unit and we are loving the new apartment (which was renovated just before we moved in - new floors, new bathroom furniture, fresh paint) but we do have to relocate for work unfortunately.

The apartment is a very luminous South-facing one bedroom (it gets direct sunlight several hours per day) and it has the advantage of being very quiet (it overlooks the internal courtyard, with no apartments right on the opposite side of it) despite being located in a lively neighborhood. The unit has generous closet space (including a LIC) and has washer and drier in unit. It has a larger than usual bathroom. It is located towards the end of the corridor with only two other flats nearby.

The apartment will be available for a a lease assignment (no sublets, sorry) starting September 10. We can offer the rest of the month of September for free and also include some of the furniture, should there be an interest.

The location gives easy access to multiple subway lines (A-C-E, 1-2-3, N-Q-R-W, and 7), to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, to Penn Station, and Grand Central Station (by bus/subway). The Hudson River Park is one block away. You can walk to Madison Square Garden, Theater District, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and Lincoln Center, making it an ideal location if you enjoy catching the occasional show.

We will leave on September 9 and can offer the rest of the month free. We can also include some furniture, should there be an interest.

Additional fees

Applications will be considered by the landlord (application fee is 20$). Qualifying applications must demonstrate a total annual household income of at least 40x the monthly rent (80 x the monthly rent for a guarantor). A security deposit amounting to one month of rent will be due at signing.
