I am the current tenant of this studio apartment and am looking for someone to take over my lease. I’m moving in with my partner and have really enjoyed living in this studio apartment for the last 3 years, and would love for this spot to be taken over by a young professional or grad student. I was a grad student at Columbia while living here, and it really was perfect for someone living alone in NYC for the first time — it’s a location that gives you access to lots of different parts of the city via public transit. The apartment is rent-stabilized, and the projected rent increase each year is about ~$50/month.

This studio is quite spacious (about 350 sq ft) and has a large west-facing window, so it gets a lot of beautiful sunlight during the day, especially during the summer. I’ve been able to fit a full-size bed, large bookcase, and 3 desks/tables in here, so there’s lots of available room for furniture and customizing the layout as you wish. I will be leaving my curtain rods, over-the-toilet organizer, and AC unit, so you’ll also have some starting pieces to work with.

Move-in date will be July 1 (can be a few days earlier if necessary, but can't be any later).
