Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to take the flex room in a 1 bed/flex on the UES starting mid-June or early July! 😊 I realize the listing says sublet but would love to have you officially added to the lease!

Apartment Details: 
- Rent for the entire apartment is $4200/month and I’m open to discussion on what your portion would be for the flex. electricity/gas (estimated ~50-75 pp) + wifi will be paid by us. Heat/hot water are included in rent.
- Lease runs from June 13th, 2026 - June 30th, 2027, flex with your start date! 
- Location📍: E 88th St between 1st Ave and York Ave! Near Carl Schurz Park // 
 5 min walk to 86th St Q Station (0.2 miles) , 10 min walk to 86th St 4/5/6 Station
- Building 🏙️: laundry in building, elevator, buzzer/intercom, live-in super!

What I really like about this apartment
- Great natural light in the bedrooms and both rooms are good sizes!
- Located on the top floor, which means no noisy upstairs neighbors stomping around
- High ceilings!
- Kitchen in a separate part of the apartment and has plenty of storage
- There's a living space for us to make our own even with the flex set up!

Room details: 
- Room Dimensions: 11ft3”  by 9ft10”
- Separate AC unit so you stay cool in summer
- Large closet by the entry way would be all yours!
- Open to implementing quiet hours to ensure noise isn’t an issue with the flex room

Note: the unit is unfurnished since I’m also moving in for the first time!

I recently moved to NYC from Seattle & lived in SoCal & Toronto before that!

Work: I work in tech & am usually in office 3x a week, WFH or at a cafe on other days
Age: mid 20’s

Hobbies/interests:
- big foodie (trying new cafes/restaurants & baking/cooking at home )
- interested in running/fitness (racquet sports, climbing, Pilates)
- Other interests: pottery/ceramics, thrifting, Broadway/musical theater, museums/architecture, live music!

Lifestyle:
- More of an early bird than a night owl, wake up ~8am, sleep ~11pm-1am during the work week.
- Prefer to keep common areas clean and have a split/assigned chore schedule (helps w accountability (“:)
- I’d love to be friends with my roommates and explore the city together 🤗 but have no expectations as long as we’re on friendly terms and openly communicate!
