Hi all! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease starting August 1st. The apartment is a studio (with a pretty long hallway at the entrance and small separated kitchen), located on West End Ave between 71st and 72nd.
The rent is $3,300 per month, and I usually pay anywhere between $60-$100 for utilities. This is a co-op, and rent and electric are paid directly to the owner of the apartment, who lives in an apartment down the hall.
The building has a 24-7 doorman, two elevators and laundry in the basement. It’s a quiet, friendly building and is in a truly wonderful location. It’s a 4 min walk from the 72nd St 123 station and down the block from Riverside Park. 72nd St between West End Ave and Amsterdam literally has everything you could possibly want in a block (restaurants, grocery (TJ’s is on Amsterdam and Fairway is a 5 min walk) etc).
**You will have to go through the co-op approval process for this apartment (including recommendation letters, an interview, income/ financials etc), so please only apply if you have serious interest. It also takes a few weeks to get approved, so the sooner you get started, the better 🙂 I’ve loved living here, but have to leave the city for work.
