We're subletting our fully furnished one-bedroom apartment in Bed-Stuy while we're away for the summer. The apartment occupies the entire first floor of a beautifully renovated brownstone on a quiet, tree-lined block.

**$5,600 total for the entire stay (July 1–August 17), including utilities and Fios internet.**

Perfect for a single person or couple spending the summer in New York, working remotely, relocating to the city, or between leases.

We also have a number of houseplants, so we're looking for someone willing to water them occasionally. Most are low-maintenance and only need attention every few weeks.

### The Neighborhood

This is one of our favorite parts of Brooklyn: friendly, relaxed, and genuinely community-oriented. Within a short walk you'll find excellent cafes, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and neighborhood shops.

* Coyote Club (great happy hour)
* Herbert Von King Park, which hosts yoga classes, DJs, concerts, BBQs, and community events throughout the summer

### Transportation

Easy access to the rest of Brooklyn and Manhattan:

* Approximately 12 minutes to the J/M/Z trains at Myrtle–Broadway
* Approximately 12 minutes to the J train at Kosciuszko Street
* Easy access to the A/C trains via Fulton Street
* B38 and B52 buses nearby
* Approximately 15 minutes to the G train

Street parking is generally manageable for those with cars, aside from street-cleaning days.

* No smoking inside the apartment or on the stoop
* No large parties

Having friends over for dinner, drinks, or a short visit is absolutely fine, and guests are welcome to use the pull-out sofa.

Preference will be given to local renters who can meet in person, though we're happy to arrange a FaceTime or Zoom tour for anyone relocating to New York.
