Hi there! We’re offering a 7‑week summer sublet from June 30th to August 17th in our queer safe home. The room is very large, has its own private bathroom, has a walk in closet, and sits inside a queer‑safe, cooperative home that’s genuinely a joy to live in. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for real cooking — plenty of fridge and cabinet space included.


This isn’t just a room. It’s a safe, clean, beautiful home with kind, grounded roommates. You don’t need to be queer, but you do need to be comfortable living with queer folks.


The room is $2,400 total for the full 7 weeks (not prorated). Dates should be close to the listed range; you can crash on the couch a day or two before/after if needed. The room has AC. Utilities for the whole stay are a flat $200 (electric, gas, WiFi).


We have a great landlord and a well‑kept building.
Flushing is a foodie paradise with everything you need within walking distance — groceries, doctors, movie theaters, you name it. We’re also a 3‑minute walk from the Murray Hill LIRR station. We would need you to do a little cleaning- but splt 3 ways it's only doing the kitchen and floors once and garbage duty for 2 weeks.


Your roommates would be:


a 26‑year‑old trans man (he/they) — drag performer, artist, lifeguard, creative powerhouse


a 35‑year‑old lifelong New Yorker; cis man, and avid gamer working in mental health administration


We’re clean, kind, supportive, and responsible. Flushing can be loud due to air traffic, so this is best for someone who sleeps well.

Incentives

The person subletting will have use of my furiture (bedroom, livingroom, and kitchen) and all of our kitchen things (eqipment, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, spices (i have almost every spice) and a fully stocked tea and coffee cupboard).

Additional fees

The only paperwork required is a photo of an ID. There is not credit check because the sublet is paid upfront.

no pets, no smoking. This is strictly a 7 week sublet with no chance or renwal. the room is fully furnished and funtional. I will clear out my personal things but leave everything you need to be comfortable. I'm looking for someone who is safe in my space and will treat my things well.
