Property Details

The primary leaseholder of our apartment is moving across the country, and we're looking for someone to take over! Two bedrooms (including the prime bedroom) are now available in our beautifully renovated, 4 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with dishwasher and washer/dryer in unit.

1 of the current roommates plans to move out by end of summer, while the other (plus his adorable, friendly, quiet dog) would like to stay a bit longer. (They are also in bedrooms that share the other bathroom, so you would be moving into a fresh bathroom situation).

The building itself is quiet and well-maintained, with mostly working families and young professionals or students at nearby CCNY or Columbia University.

The neighborhood, Hamilton Heights, is quickly becoming one of the hotter neighborhoods in Manhattan, with its historical brownstones, bevy of restaurants and coffee shops, and easy access to public transportation (the 1 at 145th Street, the A/C/B/D at 145th Street, and a ton of buses that go to The Bronx, Queens, and down both the east and west side of Manhattan).

Free furniture (queen beds in every room) if you choose to keep it! We can discuss this more in detail.

Additional fees

The credit check would be $25 (we'd cover that), and you'd need to provide a letter of employment, 3 recent paystubs, and a banks statement. You'd also be responsible for supplying a new security deposit (1 month's rent), plus first and last month's rent.
