I've lived in this building for 15+ years and it's lovely.
I have a room opening up in my clutter-free and maintained 2 bedroom apartment. A cute and calm block but the heart of the East Village, Alphabet City and the LES!

Always have had easy-going female roommates only, looking for someone who is the same respectful vibe.

Whole Foods, Key Food, pharmacies, delis and great restaurants and bars all easy walking or biking distance.

Open to shorter term (at $120 per night if less than one month), but ideally looking for a longer term situation. If you seem potentially a good fit, I'll get back to you.

Asking for first month rent and the same amount for last month/deposit.

Must love dogs! I have a clean and sweet and beautiful dog that will be super excited when you come home but is otherwise calm at home and gets plenty of walks.

I'm a male freelancer, a fashion and portrait photographer mainly as well as developing an ice cream brand. Ideally you have a full-time job with expected hours (NO WFH), and we can feel out each other's schedules. Someone who is quiet and super clean and does their own thing works perfectly. I mostly take care of the general cleaning of the apartment as well.

The available room comes with a desk, chair, closet drawers, and hangers. There is also a brand new and very comfortable twin XL mattress which is pretty comfortable and allows you to have more space, but for a longer term situation I can remove it in order for you to put a bigger mattress (I personally wouldn't go any bigger than a full in the space but it depends on the person!).
