I am looking for a tenant for my private room for the rest of my lease from June through July, with early move in available starting 5/27. There is potential for lease renewal depending on my housemates' situations starting August (since we share this lease together).

My room is in a 3B2BR apartment in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, furnished with a twin sized mattress, bed frame, and a large desk. There is also a small closet to store items and hang clothing. You will be sharing the rest of the apartment with three other people (two male, one female), two of which are graduate students graduating this spring, and two cats. My room is located in the basement, where you will share the bathroom with the male graduate student that lives on this same floor.

$1200/month, not including wifi ($15/month) and electricity

This is perfect if you are moving to the area early to house hunt or for an internship. DM for any other photos and details you may need. Please share if someone you know might be interested!

Incentives

The aforementioned furniture is in this room (mattress, bedframe, desk) can be taken with you for free, whether you decide to renew the lease or move somewhere else.

You also will not need to pay the rent in May if you choose to move in before 6/1.

Additional fees

No application fee or broker fee required. Management requests following information:
- Photo ID
- Email address and cell phone number
- Proof of income (preferably a W2, though an employer letter is also acceptable). Please note that annual income must be at least 40 times the monthly rent. If this requirement is not met, a guarantor will be needed to provide the same documentation.
- One month of pay stubs
- Two recent bank statements
- Current address
- Current rent amount (if currently a roommate, list their share only)
- Contact information for their current landlord or management company

Once information provided is satisfactory, you will be sent a link to complete a credit check.

Other info

The apartment is rent-stabilized, so if a lease renewal goes through, you can expect the price to not be much different (currently $3750/month).
