🌻 Hi, hi! I am slowly beginning my search for a housemate to sign a lease for a 3BD/2BA apartment in Greenpoint with just one roommate, yours truly (late 20s, F, LBGTQ) and a darling cat :) (Is that 1.5 roommates...?)

I currently live in this apartment alone and feel no rush to fill the space right away. Still, I am excited, and I hope to have some positive conversations with prospective candidates for a 7/1 start.

The available room is a large garden-level space with a high ceiling, two closets, and a separate entrance. There are two windows that get a small amount of ambient light as the room overlooks a private garden. You will have your own private bath with a shower, and a bonus windowless room. The bonus is perfect for an artist's studio.

Upstairs is the kitchen, an additional full bath, my room (without a closet), and a second room that will be used as our shared common area with a private patio!

This is a local landlord's only building. Total rent is $4k with modest increases. The apartment is well outside toxic areas and floodzones up to year 2100. It is no frills, quiet, and what I feel is an amazing deal for the neighborhood. 2 minutes from the nearby G, 8 minutes from the ferry.

Additional fees

Only fee is the security deposit equal to one month's rent
