THE APARTMENT: A studio / jr. one-bedroom (separated sleeping area) with top-of-the-line appliances, in-unit washer/drier, great sunlight, and a fantastic view.
THE BUILDING: Brand new building with state-of-the-art gym, rooftop lounge (great for working or hanging out), heated rooftop pool, 24-hour doorman, and frequent community events.
THE DETAILS: I absolutely love the apartment and the building, but I need to move to NYC for a new job on short notice. You will be taking over the lease through the building management company -- so everything will be completely above board, and you'll enjoy all the benefits and rights of all tenants. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a short-term commitment with the opportunity to renew.
THE PERKS: You'll be doing me a huge favor by allowing me to avoid the fee for breaking the lease. In return, I'm happy to discuss subsidizing your rent for the duration of my original lease period (through mid-September). I'm also happy to give you any furniture (bed, couch, kitchen table, bookshelf) you want. Or I'm happy to get rid of it too.
