This fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment is located on the 4th and top floor (3rd for Europeans) of a walk-up townhouse with security system in Harlem, Manhattan. The air-conditioned apartment has window guards, and there is a portable crib or cot available if needed. The rental has double exposure: northern exposure of gardens and a southern exposure of a typical New York tree-lined street.

Sylvia’s about 5 blocks south (500m) from the rental makes a mean chicken and waffles. Furthermore, the neighborhood is well-known for its gospel choirs, so be sure to visit one of the churches on a Sunday morning. If Jazz music is more to your liking, make your way down to 125th Street (.4mi or 650m) where you will find numerous lounges as well as the iconic Apollo Theater.

To easily commute downtown, you can catch a subway (2 and 3 lines) at 135th Street station just three blocks (about 300m) north of the apartment.
