We are looking for someone to take over our lease starting May 1. It's a 2BR in downtown brooklyn. The photos/listing shared is the listing back from when we took over someone else's lease in 2020. The rental price is $6,127 and will start a new lease for 12 months. We will be able to paint and clean the unit so it's fresh before move in.
We are on the 2nd Floor (amenities floor), so have extra high ceilings, plus a huge private terrace. Laundry in unit. The primary bedroom has a giant walk-in closet and the bedroom generally is huge. We have a queen bed, 3 dressers, my work desk, rocking chair and our daughter's crib all in the room. Second bedroom we've been using as an office / nursery / guest room. Fits a queen bed. Amazing natural light (the common "roof" terrace is on our floor, so we are almost a block away from the street / other buildings, so no buildings blocking our light).
We are moving because we've bought a place, and honestly we've been grieving leaving this apartment. The building is very responsive to any repairs, our neighbors are nice - there is a big common area, plus a nice kids play area with toys in the basement.
The apartment has been amazing for entertaining - we've had many parties here using our patio and large living space.
