THE BEST VIEW. Very large, spacious studio, rent stabilized(!!), facing West with a full wall of glass, looking out over a park to the Empire State Building, with no other buildings directly to the left/right/front. This means sunsets, ESB lights, and treetops galore!

You can search Youtube for "The Copper Apartment W14K" (or one for W15K) to see videos of these other apartments that have the same layout as mine. Best studio layout in the building, best rent (see StreetEasy records for comparisons), and huge closet. Also check out other videos about this famous American Copper building! Across the street is the ferry straight over to Brooklyn.

Rent includes FREE access to building's Skybridge Lounge with long wide views of ESB and also East River, children's playroom, work lounge, reading space, pool table, printing station, and TV. Other amenities (2-floor gym with amazing views, rock climbing wall, sauna, indoor lap pool, yoga/pilates classes, massage room) require a membership fee. Rooftop pool is also a separate membership.

Most wonderful front desk and building support staff too. And pet-friendly building (though you might have to get approved by management).

Apartment/building are especially amazing for remote workers. Apartment is clean, well taken care of, in excellent shape like in the aforementioned videos. I felt like the luckiest person getting this apartment.

Relatively new protected mattress & wood frame available for purchase (among other things), making the apartment ready to live in.

Move in date could be negotiable - ask me first.

Additional fees

After I identify someone to take over the lease, I will provide further info on online application ($20 fee by management). Docs that person will need to submit online or by email to building management are: A copy of government ID, A current employment letter with company letterhead, Two most recent pay stubs, Two most recent bank statements or investment portfolio statements, Tax Return 2025. "Qualifying applications must demonstrate a total annual household income of at least 40x the monthly rent. Guarantors must demonstrate 80x the monthly rent and multiple guarantors may not combine incomes in order to meet this requirement." In my experience, they considered bonus potential as part of overall income.
