I'm looking for someone to take over my lease for an affordable, rent-stabilized 1 bedroom in Long Island City. The building is Linc LIC (https://rockrose.com/building/linc-lic/).

The apartment is roughly 600 square feet, located right by the building terrace, and is quiet. The location is also amazing, especially if you work in the city - taking the nearby E or F line (5 min walk), you can get to midtown in roughly 15 minutes.

Amenities include free gym (spacious), trash rooms on every floor, secure package room, kid's playroom, and more, which you can find on the building's webpage.

I've been here for about 3 years and have not had any issues. Management has been super quick to respond to repair requests (usually within 24 hours).

I'm putting this apartment for lease because I need to move for a job. The price is firm. You'll be taking the apartment as-is.

The earliest you can move in is April 1, 2026. You'll be taking over the lease completely. The lease ends in August of this year but there will be the opportunity for renewal.

Note that you'll have to submit an application on your own on Rockrose, and have to get approved. That means you'll have to meet all their requirements, including paying the application fee yourself and whatever salary requirements are listed (I believe is 40 or 45x the rent).

Pictures attached are from the building owners. Note that there is NO washer / dryer in the unit.

Price, as mentioned, is $3,427 / month.
