**How Subsidized Rent Will Work**
1. You will be assuming the lease under your name and your account starting 1 April, and pay $5,375 to the building monthly until 31 October (end of the current lease).
2. In March, after it's confirmed in writing with the building that you have assumed the lease and paid the security deposit, we will wire $376 x 7 months (deducting 1 week of rent for the last week of March) to your account, bringing down your effective rent to $4,999 a month.
