We are looking for someone to takeover our 1BR lease in Downtown Brooklyn. The rent is $3826.44/mo with an opportunity to renew at rent stabilized rates in May 2026 when the current lease period ends.

We love this apartment and wish we could stay, but are growing our family and need more space. This apartment is perfect for singles or couples without children, for the following reasons:
- Rent Stabilized - we pay below market rate for our area due to the lease being renewed for several years now
- In-unit washer / dryer
- South facing views + lots of light.
- Near lots of subway lines (A, C, F, R, Q, G, 2, 3, and I'm probably even missing a few)
- Great building staff - there's always at least 1 doorman 24/7, but most of the time there are 2. They take the time to know your names and make the building feel super safe.
- Maintenance requests are very responsive.
- Walking distance to nice places to eat / meet up with friends (Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, DUMBO)

Additional fees

There's a small fee (~$20) just to apply to takeover the lease with the building management
