We're having a child and want to move closer to our families before we have the kid.
The unit is in a brand new building right by the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It’s one of those luxury buildings with all the amenities: full gym, roof deck with an amazing view, co-working spaces, game room, children’s playroom, courtyard with seating and grills.
We can leave the unit furnished or get rid of our stuff before you move in. We currently have a queen-sized bed.
The unit itself is a one-bedroom with a ton of natural light, comfy furniture, a washer and dryer in the unit, central heat and air, etc. We both used to work from home and have a lot of calls, so the living room and bedroom both have desks with monitors. The living room has a standing desk too. The unit is quiet— we don’t have loud neighbors or traffic noise from the street.
The neighborhood is super vibrant and fun. If you like green spaces, Prospect Park is right there and so is the Botanical Garden, though there’s a fee to go in there. If you like good food, we’re close to a ton of good places, including amazing jerk chicken, great pizza, and amazing kosher food. There’s also a bunch of bars a few blocks up Franklin- everything from tiki to pub to upscale cocktail bar.
