Hi there! 👋 I’m Erika. I’m traveling for a few periods this summer and fall, and I’m curious if a friend or friend-of-friend might like to stay in my room in New York City while I’m away. The room is part of a 4br/2ba apartment in Ridgewood, right on the Bushwick border.

August 9 - August 27 (18 nights) — $660
August 29 - October 7 (39 nights) — $1430
Includes utilities. Some flexibility may be possible. let me know what you’re up for!

Amenities
— Your room has two large windows with gorgeous sun, and an individual A/C unit with a remote control. (YAY!) You’ll share a bathroom with one other tenant.
— The apartment has great WiFi (Verizon FiOS) and central heating. Shared space includes a living room with couch and TV, dining table, kitchen with modern appliances (microwave, fridge, stove).
— Our super and landlord are responsive and responsible. And our building also has a low-key rooftop with a lovely view.
— Close to the L and M trains (Seneca Ave and Myrtle/Wyckoff stations) and multiple Citibike stations.
— Family-oriented neighborhood with laundry down the block and a great grocery store a short walk away.
— Amazing restaurants and cafes in the area. Some of our favorites include L’imprimerie, Abracadabra, Honey Moon, Taqueria al Pastor, Rolo’s, Klom Klorm.

— The room is 10'3" x 12'9”, facing the backyard. We are on the second floor (walk-up).

Roommates
— I live with three humans in their 20s & 30s who are composers, storytellers, songwriters, and theater artists working and making art in the city. We’re friends who like to share stories, skills, chores, laughter, and the occasional meal together. We’re also chill with doing our own thing most of the time!

— are neat and responsible, but also okay with a little mess! (We are generally tidy, but for example when deadlines hit, we are okay with some dishes being left in the sink a bit longer than ideal.)
