The apartment is a large one bedroom (800+ sq. ft) with fantastic, unobstructed views downtown and lots of light in the bedroom and living room. This is the only floor in the building with high (9-ft) ceilings, which adds to the spacious feel. It's at the end of the hallway, so very quiet and on the corner of the building. It has dark hardwood floors, modern appliances and dark wood cabinets. The closet space is HUGE with two massive folding door closets.
The building has 24-hr doormen and is extremely convenient to major subway lines (4, 5, 6, N, R, F) with a newly renovated entryway/first floor and gym. There are multiple elevators, a separate delivery entrance, and a large furnished rooftop deck with a great view. We love the building/location, but need a bigger space.
Reasons for leaving
Some furniture (coffee table, media center, desk, breakfast/pub style high table & chairs) can be negotiated and remain in the apartment
A credit/background check should only take 1-2 days.
The $2,500 rate is ONLY FOR MAY. The tenant would have the option to negotiate a new 12 month lease with the landlord at a market price (starting June 1st), which will be separate and different from what the $2,500 we charge for the sublet....OR, our lease can be cancelled and a new 12-mo. lease signed before this apartment hits the market
