Rent Stabilized Unit in Chelsea/NoMad Area Available for Lease Takeover

My husband and I are relocating to the D.C. area in March 2025 and are looking for someone to take over the remainder of our lease. The apartment:

- High-floor, west-facing unit with incredible sunset views
- Very large bedroom (could fit a California king)
- Rent stabilized under 421-A

800 Sixth is a very well-maintained, dog-friendly building in an incredible location--steps to the R/W at 28th Street, the 1 at 28th Street, and Herald Square. The staff are wonderful (Marcos never lets me walk by without handing me a package recently delivered) and neighbors are friendly. The building also has a concierge for laundry, drycleaning, and other tasks, which is super convenient in a pinch.

We've loved this apartment for two years and are sad to say goodbye to it. Start date may be flexible to later than 2/28, if needed. Photos were taken when we initially viewed the place ourselves followed by others I took throughout our time spent here. The first outdoor shot is the view from the living room window looking north up Sixth Ave; the others were taken from the roof deck (which offers a solid view of July 4 fireworks).
