The owner also likes to see that you have liquid assets in the bank (ie. enough to be able to pay the rent each month). If you don't meet these requirements, you can use one or more US guarantors. The income and credit requirements for guarantors are 80x the rent in combined annual income, a US credit score above 700, and liquid assets in the bank.
