The thoughtfully designed apartment features hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances (gas stovetop/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher) and granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, in unit washer dryer, lots of closet space, lots of natural light (2 walls of windows in the living room with wonderful views). Please note video tour is of an identical unit on the 20th floor. The listed unit is on the much higher floor and has better views. The rental price listed here includes rent for the furnished unit (optional, we can remove the furniture if you don't want it but price will not change), common amenities, gym fees, basic renter's insurance and 421a surcharge required by the building. Heat and hot water are included but electricity will be billed in addition to the rent. For Internet, the building also has options for Verizon Fios, Spectrum and Astound RCN, you can choose what provider and plan works best for your budget and needs.

This sublease ends on June 12 but you have the option of signing a new lease with the landlord to extend your stay if you wish, at the market rate. If the sublet rent comes in on time and you are a good sublessee, we would be open to renewing our lease at our (much lower than market) rate and extending the sublease for another year.

The location is commuter heaven since the building is just minutes away from the Jay St, Hoyt St, Nevins St. and DeKalb Ave stations with access to almost all subway lines including 1,2,3,4,5,6,B,D,F,N,Q,R,W. Downtown Manhattan is a 12 minute subway ride away. Coney Island is 25 minutes on the Q train for summertime fun.

Fort Greene park is a short walk away and great for runs and leisurely walks. It has 2 playgrounds for kids and also hosts free fitness classes in the summer, Halloween fest and many music and outdoor movie nights. A year-round Saturday Farmer's market right by Fort Greene park makes it easy to get the freshest food possible and head over to the park for an impromptu picnic. Grocery stores within walking distance include NYC Fresh (across the street), Trader Joe's (at the Dekalb Market Hall - also great food hall), Wegman's (the only one in Brooklyn) and Sahadi's.
