We are offering our 1,250 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom furnished apartment in Peter Cooper Village for a four-month sublease from August to December 2024. It's a comfortable and well-maintained space, ideal for someone who appreciates a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood in Manhattan within a 30-minute walking distance of Penn Station, Grand Central, the UN, Washington Square Park, Chelsea and everything in between. Has very good public transit access with the L and 6 as well as the M23, M15, M9, and M34 buses. Great option for a visiting family, a mature graduate student or students, or visiting scholar who needs a place for the semester, someone new to the city who wants to scout out housing options for a few months before committing, someone with a residency at one of the nearby health facilities, a UN employee, or someone with a job in East Midtown. The unit gets direct, afternoon sun, and sits just above the tree level.

This is a rent-stabilized apartment. By law, we are renting the unit well below the going market rate for 2-bed, 2-bath units in the area. All utilities are included in the rent with the exception of internet. Please reach out if you need to negotiate on terms of the lease.

We have just moved into the unit, so we are in the process of getting settled. We will be installing a 9 foot motorized projector screen and projector attached to our home theater system and Roku.

The second bedroom is currently used as an office with a futon that we use for guests. IF YOU REQUIRE A BED FOR THE SECOND BEDROOM, WE CAN PROVIDE ONE. We can remove any and all children's furniture / toys etc. if you do not have use for them.

Air conditioning throughout. Paid laundry in the basement with easy elevator access. Semi-private lawn outside the front door of the building. We're across the street from the East River and Asser Levy Gym which has both an indoor and outdoor pool. There is a large children's playground on the property and a dozen other outdoor facilities across Stuytown / Peter Cooper Village.
