Property Details

Our quiet and spacious, 32nd-floor, corner-apartment has incredible north-facing views of the entire city. Massive (4.5 feet wide) double hung windows offer unbelievable views of the Empire State, Chrysler, and Gehry Buildings as well as the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges. On clear days one can even see Whitestone Bridge. The windows open onto an exclusive balcony that spans the length of apartment. I enjoy taking my coffee outside and watching the sunrise above the East River. Our location benefits from the transportation, shopping, and amenities of the financial district while avoiding the tourists and “9 to 5” vibes associated with FiDi. The historic Southport Seaport is down the block. Evening strolls along the river and weekend markets/fairs make it easy to forget one lives in Manhattan. The pedestrian paths and shopping areas are well-trafficked and well-maintained. There is easy access the FDR and Brooklyn Bridge by car as well as bicycle. Pier 11 is the main hub for NYC Waterway and is less than a 5 minutes walk away. Governor’s Island, IKEA, Williamsburg, and DUMBO are each a quick ferry ride away. CitiBike is also conveniently located on our block. "This is the kind of place you think of when you imagine a ‘New York City apartment’, " said a friend of ours upon visiting our place for the first time. We are sad to go, but excited for the beach life that awaits us in San Francisco. Our beautiful, sunny apartment will be available in a few months. There are several large grocery stores and numerous bodegas within easy walking distance. The Tin Building, Jubilee, Fulton Market, City Acres, Eataly, and Whole Foods are all within a 2-10 minute walk away. Peck Slip and Spruce Street Elementary Schools are excellent and also only 3-4 blocks away. There are several innovative playgrounds in the neighborhood as well as dog friendly spaces. It's about a 15 minutes walk to Chinatown, 15 minutes to Battery Park, and 20 minutes to SoHo/Nolita. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) Large closets and windows in every room High ceilings Recessed lighting in the kitchen Ample cupboard space Open floor plan L-Shaped living space allows for separate living/dining/kitchen areas Entryway with recess lighting & large storage closet Stainless steel appliances: gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, Dishwasher Granite countertops Separate pantry in kitchen Floating wood floors Bath/shower combo in each bathroom Blackout shades in every window Individually controlled heat/air in each room 24/7 Mailroom and package management
