Looking for someone to take my place on the lease for this beautiful bedroom in a furnished 2 Bed 1 Bath apartment in the Lower East Side near Clinton St and Stanton St. The lease would be from May 1 until August 31 with the option to renew past that. The rent is $2500 / month.

The room is spacious, filled with light, and has a great north-facing view over the East Village towards the skyscrapers of midtown. The room opens out onto a private (just for you!) balcony to enjoy the coming summer warmth.

The apartment is on the top floor and the courtyard side of the building, which means you have unobstructed northern views, but it is super quiet during the day and night. The kitchen has a ton of counter and cabinet space, new appliances, and dishwasher. There is a cozy living room with couches and a TV. It is important to note that the bedroom is flexed from a previously very large living room, meaning the living room and kitchen don’t get much natural light if the door is closed and the flex-wall light-window is blocked off.

The building has two elevators (in case one wasn’t enough), a laundry room, gym, bike room, virtual doorman, Amazon locker, and a friendly live-in super.

The location is perfectly situated next to all the lively, exciting restaurants and bars of the Lower East Side and East Village but on a quiet block, surrounded by green space. You are a 7 minute walk from Trader Joes, Target, and the Delancey-Essex subway stop (FMJZ).

The roommate, 30M, is friendly, very respectful and communicative, clean and tidy, and works from home. He’s a great guy and great roommate. He is looking to share the space with someone who is also respectful, cares about cleanliness and tidiness, and doesn’t bring the party home too often. Ideally, this person would also be male-identifying.
