Looking to do a lease transfer/sublet of my enormous, pre-war apartment in Chelsea. This is a gorgeous 1B/1B with several large walk-in closets in a beautiful old doorman building. I absolutely love the building and the apartment but am moving back to DC after doing long distance with my boyfriend.
Start date is somewhat flexible—I just need to give my work ~a month of heads up before I switch offices. The current lease ends July 31.
I currently pay $5275 (all utilities except wifi included and no broker's fee). For transparency, I haven’t received my renewal offer, so I don’t know if the rent will increase after the lease term ends (I'm hoping to have a good candidate to put forward before discussing the logistics with my building). The unit would not come furnished (but open to selling some of the pieces, if interested).
Building is (obviously) very pet-friendly and has a gym, package service, and laundry room. There's also a valet service on site that does dry cleaning, wash and fold, and cleaning.
