The apartment is within 15 minutes of walking distance of NYU. NYU bus route E is within a block of the apartment.
It is spacious and the kitchen is separated from the rest of the area with a wall. This would be a great place for a person living alone or for a couple. It should also be enough for two roommates with a separating wall.
Monthly rent is $2850 (a couple of hundred dollars below the market rate in this area).
The rent includes heating during winter, cooling during summer. Hardwood floors. There are 3 big closets for storage. Kitchen and bathroom were renovated last year with brand new granite tops, a great gas oven/stove, stainless steel fridge & dishwasher. There is plenty of storing space in kitchen, and the kitchen area fits a kitchen table for big enough for 3 people. The bathroom is also new and has a storage area below the sink.

Additional fee

Landlord requires an application fee of $75 and does credit check. At minimum, a tenant should earn 40 times the monthly rent, have a good credit score (“usually 700 or above,”), and have an employment letter and copies of recent pay stubs and bank statements at the ready. Recent tax returns might be asked as well.
