Kitchen area includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/microwave, electric stove & breakfast counter. Bathroom includes bathtub/shower. Combo washer/dryer in unit. Furniture includes bed frame with mattress (bedsheets and pillows not included), height-adjustable desk, desk chair, 3 barstool chairs, small vacuum cleaner, 2 plastic garbage cans, ironing board, toilet plunger/brush and laundry basket. Heating and air conditioning. All appliances, fixtures & furniture are in new or nearly new condition. Building has elevator and doorman (except 2 am to 6 am). Located in a safe, quiet area of Gramercy Park, 1 block away from a major supermarket, near multiple restaurants, and with convenient subway & bus access. Very close to Baruch College, School of Visual Arts, and within easy commuting distance of NYU.
Applicants must pre-pay 1 month rent, together with a $1000 security deposit. Applicants will need to fill out an application form by Akelius Property Management (the manager of the entire apartment building), and receive approval after a credit and background check. No smoking or pets. Utility costs ($75 per month) are the responsibility of the sublessee. The sublessee has the option to use our Verizon internet/wifi service, which will cost an additional $50 per month; otherwise the sublessee can choose to install and pay for their own internet/wifi service.

Additional fees

Supportive documents: Applicants must submit either a letter of employment or tax records that demonstrate projected salary, or bank or financial records that demonstrate adequate funds, if the rent is being paid monthly. If the applicant is backed by a guarantor, then the guarantor must submit these supportive documents. Alternatively, if the applicant plans to prepay the rent for the entire duration of the sublease, then supportive documents are not required.
