I am an artist/nonprofit consultant needing a new space for me and my current projects. This is a great spot! Been here about a year and I wish I could stay as it is 5 minutes from Harlem/Manhattan in South Bronx Luxury Building, half a block from the subway... very easy to access any part of NYC! The neighborhood is great as well, with lots of options for food/drinks/groceries. Sublet/Lease Takeover April 1st. $1250/month+ utilities for Room in 3 bedroom with 2 other females in their 20s (one is a student and one is a working professional). Bedroom shares a bathroom with one other person and includes an over-sized bathtub/shower. Unit has a large kitchen/living room with modern appliances and a dishwasher. Laundry in unit and in building. Sublet option includes basic dishes/cooking stuff. Entire apartment stays quiet because it is a corner unit on the 7th floor and neighbors are very chill. Room has a balcony with a small breakfast table/chair and is full light in the afternoon including many sunset views. Building rooftop is great to have during good weather if you like to grill outside or just hang with a view. Private bedroom balcony has a great view of Manhattan/Harlem too... so the roof is not always required :).

Manhattan is 5-20 minutes away (5-10 min to Harlem, 10-15 min to Central Park, and 10-20 min for most places on the Upper East/West Sides and downtown). The building is extremely close to stations on the 4/5/2 trains near 138st/Madison and within a short walk to the 2/3 trains. There are grocery stores/bodegas/restaurants/bars within walking distance and a short train to Target/Home Depot/Yankee Stadium. Building also has several other amenities making it perfect for anyone using a gym, working remotely (more perks listed below).

Interested applicants should email a small description of themselves and availability times to zoom/phone chat or visit on-site, provide at least one reference that can speak to their responsibility and respect as a roommate. Must apply to the building if leasing, includes a $20 fee and requires information on financial status, deposit etc... note that this does not apply to subletting. If subletting: only the monthly rate of $1250 + utilities is required. Month-to-month or a longer-term sublet is available, depending on interest.
