Hello! I am looking for someone to take over my lease of a studio apartment in Chelsea (208 W 23rd St) from April 1st - July 31, 2024 - background checks and replacement tenant acceptance will be performed by building management prior to reassigning the lease agreement to you. My monthly rent is $3,150 and building management has confirmed that you will be able to renew the lease. A security deposit of $3,150 will also need to be paid to me, and you can keep the original security deposit I had previously paid to building management - your address/details will be changed on the lease agreement so you will be able to claim when you decide to move out. AND no need to pay brokerage fee!
Side note- I am super clean & majorly OCD, so I have kept the apartment in excellent condition! I will leave the apartment unfurnished (I am in the process of selling my Knoll dining table + Knoll chairs + RH custom fabric bed with storage - unless you would like to purchase from me, pricing negotiable!!) and ready for move in on April 1st if you decide to take over my lease (I can keep my Windmill air-conditioning unit (in excellent condition - 2 years old) in apartment if you prefer - was planning on selling it but will give it to you for free as a bonus!). Please let me know if you are or know anyone who is interested.
Additionally - the apartment has a great layout - open concept & high ceilings - white walls (looks modern & clean), great kitchen size, can fit a queen or king bed without making the place feel crowded, and lastly, two closets - lots of space for storage for sure! This apartment was newly renovated when I moved in (2 years ago) with stainless steel appliances (2 years old) - including a dishwasher! Bathroom was newly redone when I moved in - there is a bath tub as well.
Building amenities include a door-man, spacious lobby, two elevators, rooftop with amazing views, a gym, and laundry in building (in the basement). Additionally, the building's location is AMAZING - literally right next to Gotham Comedy Club and Hotel Chelsea/Cafe Chelsea, a Whole Foods Market three blocks away (literally less than a 5 minute walk), a WestSide Market a minute away, coffee shops on every corner, and right next to the 1 trains, one avenue away from the C/E and F trains - and this isn't even the half of it!
My apartment is also super quiet as it faces the interior of the building vs. the street and I have really respectful, courteous, and quiet neighbors. Building management and maintenance are also excellent!
I have nothing bad to say about this apartment and the building and I honestly would've chosen not to leave and wish I could have stayed and renewed my lease for years to come but unfortunately I am getting married and have to relocate as well for my new job which starts in April - so please help a girl out... :) Message me if interested to see additional photos or videos of the apartment furnished.
