Your space:
1 room available in a 2-bed-2-bath Downtown Brooklyn luxury building. Your room will comfortably fit a queen-sized bed with room to spare for furniture and features a large built-in closet. You will also have access to a private bathroom directly outside of the bedroom with three tall mirrors & storage behind all three! (Bathroom will come with unused shower curtain liner and hooks.) A dual AC/heater is built into the bedroom and features temperature controls and fan modes.
Room comes UNFURNISHED, furnished images are just to show a sense of space! The common space is furnished with a couch, dining table and equipped kitchen.
The common spaces:
This unit features hardwood flooring throughout, and a massive (and furnished) private terrace accessible from the living room. Additionally, there is a living room with couch and dining table, and a kitchen complete with a large kitchen island and modern appliances including a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and in-unit washing and drying machines.
Please note, you will be living with 1 (very friendly and adorable) cat in the unit.

Utilities:
Water and gas is included in the rent. Fiber Internet (Fios) is installed in the apartment and is $20 per person per month. Electricity is serviced through Con Edison.

This building is just steps from the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, and within walking distance to several train lines, including the F, A, C, B, Q, R, N, & W lines. CitiBike docks are just 1 block away in all directions from the building.
A 5 minute walk to Brooklyn Commons Plaza and Wegmans, a 10 minute walk to Trader Joe’s and Dekalb Market Hall, and a 15 minute walk to Fort Greene Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park. The apartment building is nestled between a ‘Public Storage’ facility and a parking garage.
The application process:
This is a lease takeover. The current lease expires on March 31, 2024, with the option to renew. Rent is currently $2,424 per person, and may only increase upon lease renewal and in accordance with rent-stabilization caps. Applicants will be asked to interview with the current tenants. If it’s a good fit, you will need to fill out an application form, which can take 2-4 weeks for the building to process. Move-in date can be flexible. Applicant will pay a security deposit of $2,347 to the previous tenant which will be returned within 14 days of the lease ending date of March 31, 2024, with any potential deductions made by the building for damages or other tenant-induced costs incurred during your tenancy.
