19 Dutch is THE BEST luxury rental building downtown. The pictures posted do not capture the beauty that is this building. I wish we could stay here forever since I experienced many milestones in this building and in my apartment. Now that I have 2 toddlers, the apartment is no longer suitable for our needs and we are looking to move closer to their school.
The apartment is a penthouse, located above the 60th floor, has high ceilings, and amazing views of the East River, most of Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, and the Verrazano Bridge. You will not find an apartment like this anywhere and I am devastated even having to write this description because I truly would stay here forever if I could. The views do not stop with the above, we also have a southern and western view (with partial views of the Hudson River). In addition to being able to watch the sun rise and see the beautiful colors that occur with the sun setting, you also have top notch amenities in the building. On the 3rd floor is the event lounge, great room, private conference room, and 2 kitchen spaces. The 4th floor has the gym, outdoor terrace, and kids play room. The roof on the 64th floor has an indoor and outdoor area that is incomparable as well. I will miss everything about this place, so I'm hoping someone who will love it as much as my family does will take over our lease.
Note: Also, I did build a wall to make the apartment a 3 bedroom (I was granted permission), so this can be taken down to have a larger living room or kept up as you wish!
