Co-tenant may or may not be living in the unit come March 1, 2023, but is planning to vacate at the end of the lease term (March 31, 2023) to move in with her close friend.

If she has *also* vacated by March 1, then 3 bedrooms (the entire apartment) would be available on March 1.

You have the option of paying March’s rent ahead of move-in (coordinated with co-tenant), and slowly move into the unfurnished apartment beginning the new lease on April 1.

Important: The new lease beginning in April 2023 for 1 year is about $2705/month excluding utilities, or 2 years for about $2750 also excluding utilities. March 2023's rent/security is $2620.11/$2620.11
