This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment is located in a renovated new apartment building the heart of BedStuy. Only minutes from the A/C train at Nostrand Avenue and a short walk from the G train at Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.

Apartment amenities include: modern appliances, a dishwasher, a built-in speaker system, split A/C units, and great soundproofed windows. It has truly been an exceptional apartment given the amount of space, location, and neighborhood and we are so sad to leave!

The living room can fit a 6-8 person dining table as you can see in the photos. It's an open-concept with the kitchen space which is conveniently sized in the apartment and has ample storage. A couch, large TV, and two desks fit comfortably in the living room - although you can also opt for more empty space if you don't need two full desks and would like to expand the seating space. The bathroom feels fresh and modern and water pressure is great. The bedroom fits a full size bed comfortably but could also fit a queen. There is one closet but also space for you to add dressers and/or a closet if you wish.

The building has about 8 units, is relatively quiet with young tenants, has laundry in the basement with a card system that is very efficient and easy to use. All apartments are a walk-up and this one in particular is located on the second floor, so only one flight of stairs up. There is a designated package area inside the building hallway that is sheltered from the outside streets for safety of your packages (as it goes in Brooklyn!). There is also a rooftop accessible by all tenants.

The neighborhood, if you're not familiar, is very hip, young, and growing fast! There are multiple outstanding local restaurants and bars only minute walks away; it's so easy just to stay in this neighborhood forever. Multiple grocery store options within walking distance too. You're also quite close to Crown Heights, Clinton Hill, and Fort Greene, if you wish to branch out!

In all honesty we really do LOVE this apartment. It is truly a great balance of space, location, convenience of everything in the neighborhood, and modern amenities, especially at this price. We are the first to live in the apartment since it's been built. Not to mention that the building management is also incredibly responsive and attentive - so you are in good hands as tenants here.

* The one thing we would note about the photos of this apartment is that the true black splash of the kitchen is actually a maroon color. The light blue tiles on there now are stick-ons that will be removed before you move in!

Additional fee

In order to lease this apartment you will need to submit to the building management (via a secure online link): your ID, Pay stubs, Bank Statements, and Tax Return copies. As always, it is ideal to have proof of income that reflects 40x rent and a good credit score.

Ideally you are interested in a longer-term lease (14-16 months) upon signing. But we are also interested in a lease-takeover for our current lease, ending September 30th, 2023!
