We (a Franco-American Couple -- a PhD candidate at Columbia and a biotechnology scientist) are offering the place from January 2023-May 2023 (perfect for the Columbia Spring Semester) and then you can stay longer if you love it as much as we did! We can also accomodate shorter sublets.

NO FEES. The only utilities are electricity and internet (all else included).

The apartment is brand new with all modern luxuries. We are the first tenants to live in it. Twelve-foot-high ceilings and large windows overlooking the sunny landscaped interior courtyard and carriage house.
Because we face the interior of the courtyard it is EXTREMELY QUIET. You can’t hear any noise from the outside.

Fancy modern kitchen and bathroom with Restoration Hardware fixtures. Panelized refrigerator and dishwasher. Bosch oven, cooktop, and microwave.
Strip wood flooring, Italian-crafted lacquer wood cabinetry & white quartz countertops.

The amenities here are amazing; we found them to be by far the best of any apartment building in the area. To list a few:
• The carriage house: a two-story lounge with catering kitchen, residents’ bar and business center (see pictures!). I use this as my home office and work from here every day. It’s also great for entertaining in the evening!
• Billiards room connected to the carriage house with TVs and massive fireplace.
• Full-service gym. This isn’t any old gym; it’s the best gym I’ve seen in a managed building. They have all the equipment that serious fitness people need: a squat rack with barbells and weights, a trap bar, dumbells up to 110 Ibs, two peletons, two stair climbing machines, and much more.
• Movement studio for doing yoga or other activities and two Lululemon MIRRORs.
• Men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas in each one.
• Roof top deck with lots of outdoor chairs, couches, and tables. Great views of Midtown, Morningside Park, St. John the Divine, Columbia (also great for entertaining!)
• Two garden terraces in the courtyard. One with more chairs and tables for entertaining, another one with beautiful landscaping and grass.
• A private dining room with a warming kitchen.

Originally built in 1903, the building is a designated historical landmark Now fully restored as a modern luxury building. All of the original finishes, limestone façade, and wrought iron ornamentals have been conserved and restored to their Gilded Age grandeur. The building is surrounded by its own landscaped gardens and is situated on Morningside Drive overlooking Morningside Park between two beautiful churches: The Cathedral of St. John the Divine (the largest church in North America) and the Church of Notre Dame.
We are a block away from Columbia University and a short walk from Central Park and Riverside Park on the Hudson River. We are a short walk short walk from the A-C-E/B-D subway lines at Cathedral Parkway and Central Park West and the 1-2-3 subway line at Cathedral Parkway and Broadway.
