Property Details

Located in the heart of the Financial District, The Howell was previously a hotel that was converted into long term housing. Connected to Blue Ribbon Sushi and adjacent to the Federal Reserve Building of New York, as well as steps away from Wall Street, Broadway, and the Seaport District. It's also a block away from Fulton St. train station, which gives you access to nearly all the major subway lines in the city. It is also conveniently located - a 10 minute walk from the Brooklyn Bridge.

My favorite features in this apartment are the spacious shower, king-size bed and 2 TVs. Also comes with a fully sized Blomberg fridge and small dishwasher. The view of One World Trade, along with ample natural light makes this (in my opinion) the best place to live in Fidi!

The rooftop lounge is equipped with indoor/outdoor cinema features and a BBQ. And is also a great place to work if you are a remote worker. Laundry and a gym are also conveniently located on the second floor of the building.

Lastly, the doormen are great and there is a secure package room. The building has free events about every other month. Was one of the first people to move into this building in Aug 2021, and very unfortunate that I have to leave!

Incentives

I paid $750 for the building's furniture in the unit, which includes the bed and 2 TVs in both the living and bedroom sides. Also comes with a convection oven/microwave and full size Blomberg fridge. I would be willing to leave some of the pieces of furniture that I bought out of pocket (sofa and ottoman, coffee table, rug) for a reduced price.

Additional fee

Letter of employment and salary verification needed to apply for the building. Gross salary needs to be 3x the yearly rent. (ex. $3,450 * 12 = 41,400 * 3 = $124,200). $20-25 application fee. Building would need first and security deposit equivalent to 1 month's rent to move in. Can come fully furnished for $750, with buildings furniture. I can also sell you some of my items that I have added if needed!
