Hello! I’m subletting my room in an Alphabet City between January through April 2023 (December move-in possible).

The apartment is a 2bed 1bath walk-up with one other roommate. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary pots, pans and essentials. The bathroom has a small bathtub.

The room is fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, clothes rack, wardrobe and under-bed storage. The room does NOT face the street, so it’s a surprisingly quiet place in the middle of a busy area.

The neighborhood is incredible, close to many great bars and restaurants. You’re only a few minutes walk away from Trader Joe’s grocery store, multiple laundry-mats, and an L stop. On the weekend you can head to the Tompkin’s Square Farmers’ market for fresh produce. You are also centrally located for visiting friends across Brooklyn!

We are looking for a subletter who is LGBTQ+/Queer or a strong queer ally. Green thumb a plus. The apartment does not have space for an office, so it is not suited for someone who needs to work at-home/remotely. Your flatmate is a young professional working in the higher ed/nonprofit world.
