East Village 1BR for rent - amazing location, great light, pet friendly. I've lived here for almost 4 years and would stay even longer if I wasn't relocating for a job.

$2900 a month for entire apartment; looking for someone to take over my lease from September 1, 2021 (start date flexible) to March 31, 2022. Apartment will come unfurnished. This is a great option for someone looking for a change or just moving to the city to live for awhile as you adjust.

1 Bedroom, 1 bathroom - bedroom is large enough for a queen or full size bed, plus small dresser or shelf, and has a small closet. Whole apartment gets great light, and living room has nice view to the back of the building. Separate galley kitchen (with dishwasher) makes the space feel even bigger. Laundry in basement.

AMAZING location in East Village right off of Astor Place - steps away from the 6 train, and only a few minutes walk to N/R. Multiple grocery stores in under a 10 minute walk. Union Square is 8 minutes away, and Washington Square Park and NYU are about 15. Great bars and restaurants everywhere, and easy access to almost anything else you'd want to do in New York.

Additional fee

Applicant will be required to submit an online application with $20 application fee per individual. Supporting documents for application needed:

(1) Letter of employment (guarantors accepted)
- If full-time student, proof of enrollment

(2) Most recent pay stubs;
(3) Most recent bank statement;
(4) Copy of US government ID or Passport (and US visa, if applicable).

For pets, there is a 35lbs weight limit and $150 one-time fee.

Once submitted application request approval, applicant will need to provide security deposit ($2900) plus one-month rent ($2900).
